Gearing Up For Trade Show Season

1. Location, Location, Location
Most trade shows will offer “prime location” spots for an extra charge. It’s worth looking into if you are registering early enough. You will get more traffic to your booth, which may result in more customers. Sometimes all it takes is being the first option a potential customer sees.

 

2. The Look
Standing out from the rest of the crowd is obviously very important. You want people to stop and interact with you and your team, not just walk by. Make sure you are making your message clear by using optimum lighting, clear signs and images, and put real effort into your design. It’s also important to make sure your team looks excited, professional, and has enough material to give to interested customers.

 

3. Show Time
It’s a great idea to offer show only specials, so buyers purchase immediately in order to receive this one time discount. Offering snacks, drinks, and promotional material such as pens, bags or other gadgets is always helpful to attract more people. Holding a drawing to win a prize is another great way to gain some extra interaction time with show attendees.
